  1. that would work but it becomes a hassle and in my opinion unless your buying a prebuilt piezo system it really isnt worth while. i still suggest you get one to try because there fun and cheap. and yes u definitely need a preamp/eq type thing or else you can get horrible feedback with any distortion or effects but on just a clean signal it will work but sound quite crappy

  2. i think it would still work because you can put a piezo...i assume ur talking about the little piezo buzzer element thing for like 2$...on just about anything and it will still pick up sound through it so i dont see why a bone saddle wouldnt work as long as is attached so it can pick up the vibration of the strings. please tell me if you find a good eq/buffer because thats what i have trouble with

  3. i saw a cool guitar at a pawnshop the other day and would like to look it up but i cant remember the name on the headstock

i remember itwas a double cutaway but what was cool was that it had these three rubber buttons to activate the pickups that im assuming where active and i think there was access to trimpots through the back cavity covers.

    any ideas?

  4. i think 320 good enough but its always better to go to finer grits. i have used polyurethane over enamel with success except for i had i small problems when i buffed it but i think its cuz i didnt let it sit long enough. but anyways i think using poly over enamel is okay but i don't think it would work w/ enamel over the urethane

  5. what happens alot is i let it sit for a second or two then it dries on the water so i use a skinny dowel or something like that and gather up all the dried parts and

sometimes there is paint still floating around that isnt dried but it tends to be very thin and wouldnt cover a whole body. im pretty sure its gloss not matte. do u have problems with every color or only some. For some reason the blacks greens and reds are extremely difficult to get to work, but when i use silver for example it works almost every time. i think i will try thinnning the paint just a little w/ mineral spirits.
