or explorers...lmao

my best guess is to tape off everything you dont want the finish screwed up. make sure you tape it off really well and then simply ajax the binding until it gets lighter. i'm sure it shold be fine by doing it this way. or you could just wipe bleach on but i prefer ajax because its more controllable.

as long as the scale is the same. check the scale of the neck. it wont intonate properly if its not the right scale i believe.
-
ummmmm how coudl it take an hour to tune........... it locks at both ends. you only use the fine tuners. this is not a typical floyd
-
i believe thats what they do on an all maple neck. however i believe they cut the fretboard out and then route for the truss rod. then glue the fretboard back on. (same block of wood)
-
how about you just BUY some cocobolo from a local hardwood store. i got enough for 2 fretboards and 4 headstock veneers off of one 20 dollar piece. trust me its pretty cheap. call around youll find something. it will only be around 50 bucks total.
-
its not that bad. its probably around 50 for a laminate neck made of cocobolo/

i love floyd rose guitars but DAMN their headstock is messed up/

in what way is that a speedloader............ honestly i dont know just by looking at the bridge. and the fact that it accepts normal strings is a little fishy. isnt it a normal floyd then?

QUOTE
I had an 81/85 combo for a while and tried it in both of my V's. With the 81 in the bridge, one V was kind of thin sounding, the other was just fine. With the 85 in the bridge, things we so nice and smooth. My black V, the one that sounded thin with an 81 in the bridge, actually sounded fatter than my other V with the 85 in the bridge. I still haven't figured that one out.
uh........ in what way is an emg thin. they are the FATTEST sounding hums on the market. that is MY main question. but i wont contribute to this too much i'm just trying to find out for personal reference if there is a pickup that is significantly fatter sounding than an EMG or at least enough so to say that it sounds thin.
and how could sound vary from 2 vs with a different paint job
