PRS copy - set-in maple/walnut neck, walnut body with figured ash or flamed maple top - emerald green, rosewood fingerboard, gotoh tuners
OR
Tele - walnut semi-hollow body with (flamed) maple top & back - honey-gold, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, gotoh tuners...
-
Seems to me like Musicman Steve Morse Sig. electronics...
-
Nice... I´ll be watching this topic because I have some Walnut too and I´m considering of making tele or strat....don´t know yet.... After seeing this it will be harder to decide
-
I don´t know...If I were making strat, even though it´s mahagony, I would make the headstock with 0° angle.... But it is just my opinion...
-
Nice work man! Just be carefull and don´t make any mistake like I did... I suppose it will be natural-finished...Am I right?
-
Well, now that looks like original Gibson Les Paul... THUMBS UP!!!!
-
Nice work man! Rosewood is my favourite wood! I love it!!!
-
Man! That is a nice piece of wood shaped into a guitar!! When I grow up, I´ll make something like that!
-
Mmm nice! Looking forward to see the progress
-
Oh my god.... That´s all what I say, because the finish is...oh my god!!!I´s so beautiful!!
-
Very nice top.. What colour will it be or it will be natural?
-
I´m planning to make my next instrument next year It will be probably some kind of Ibanez SZ series, and I´m going to spend much more money on it....
It is good to hear that I´m not the only teenager on this forum
Here is next photo of my "Musicman" Photo 1

Thanks...
I will have to refinish the body because I finished it not very good. 1.Nitrocellulose - high gloss 5 layers, 2.400grit sandpaper, 3.Acrylic can spray That´s all... I did only 3 layers of acryl because there was no money... But even that it has nice full tone almost like some hollow body. Oh by the way...the humbuckers are all the same
-
It all costed about 120 dollars, som you must consider my options I had when I was buying specs.
2 humbuckers connected in 3-way switch, 250k electronics, 12" fingerboard radius
That obvious orange peel is my pick...

Sorry bout that big image I´m total newbie in here...
That guitar isn´t only sweet looking, but what is more important it has sweet sound

I´m just 17, but after 7 months I managed to build my first guitar. It´s inspired by Musicman Steve Morse, but I used many different parts. Ah it feels so great...
Body is made out of alder and maple, neck is blank maple. The inlays are made out of black teflon. I used Gotoh tuners and jumbo frets.
