because floyd roses are a pain in the butt. I used to leave my cavity cover on but after about 3 months i just kept it off because when i ever iw ant to change tuning i have to adjust the springs.

i have some cheap-o neck off a Epiphone special II its black and has frets 19-22 scalloped. Its a OK scallop job definetly not the best.

I really like to add mids when i play, give to sound more bite. Alot of people think that cutting the mids sounds good, and i agree in some cases it can sound good, but when you play live your gonna need mids to cut throuhg the mix.

Still Puzzle's me how a name can be worth so much, i rather meet ONE musician that i like and have no wutograph, than have a guitar with 44 musician most of which i probably dont like.

The Kahler was originally a bass bridge, i think Les Claypool has one. It must make some REALLY low nasty noises when you descend the bar.

well atleast they still put the locking nut on some models. Would the string fall out of place if you do a whammy dive? That must also create alot of tension on the headstock whne the strings pull back from a dive bomb

I got the new catalog and these looks awesome! Carvin never ceases to amaze me... except why do some of their floyd rose model have a regulat nut instead of a locking nut?
