I have to differ from you, Judas sound was a very generic sound, I know I will get some flame for this, but they never attract me, as a matter of fact, I to this date don't own a single Judas Priest album.
Pick up Painkiller, I'm sure you'll like it.

So you made a thread just to bash Primus?
-
Exactly.. can you say cranked fullstack

I'm diggin the Dimebag sticker he has on his PRS.. other than that, pretty boring.
-
Seymour Duncan JB.. covers everything from Jazz to Metal. Very articulate, great tone aswell!
-
Mr. Becker is brilliant... amazing musician and human being.

I have a Zoom 606, I hope the 3000 isent as horrid as my 606. Really cheesy distortion, no really usuable effects... just a big wast of plastic and wires. Decent tuner though.

Keep it, then you can look like Devin Townsend!

That looks like Schecter shape.

BLS, that sounds so synthetic, midi like, is like getting Testament and taking the soul out of it. If they are realy playing that, (which I can't realy judge since I ain't no player) they are missing something or got the NS set up to the max and is killing the groove and making them sound machine like.
What do you mean? Muhammed Suicmez used a drum machine on their earlier albums.. but on Epitaph he found a drummer able to play his beats. I personally like his guitar tone.. very articulate.

"bloodline" is a good song...but that video sounds like it was recorded throgh a toilet paper tube.
the sound is much better on the cd.
Plus, seeing Jeff's jackson all covered in blood makes me cry
I of course voted for metal, everyone should check out Necrophagist http://www.necrophagist.de/Seiten/necrophagist_main.html
The guitar works is AMAZING.

+1 Schecter makes AWESOME guitars for the money, they even come stock with my favorite pickups.

well i have seen it all over newsgroup server, and i must say i have heard all of it awesome album. The best so far in my opinion. Look forward for it to come out so i can get the retail version with all the lyrics!!!
My friend has a illegal copy and from what I heard its pretty good, not as good as his old stuff though. It scares me how much more he sounds like ozzy after every record.

Buckethead is a very odd guitarist.. in a good way. He does some of the wackiest stuff, I love it.
If you had Jason Becker as an option he would be my choice, but of the ones listed id have to choose EVH, even though SRV is a close second. -
IMO DT has much better song writing than Symphony X, I just cant get over the cheese factor of Symphony X.. Romeo is amazing but my god its funny.
-
Dream Theater is amazing. Myung is an outstanding bassist, Portnoy a fantasitc Drummer... their all the best at what they due. Awake is definetly one of my all time favorites. I cant wait til' Petrucci's solo album

They had to pay for the Nevborns, the Ibanez were more than likely given to them.
Which would you choose?
