  1. 12-String Auction Alert!! Hi All, Just a self-serving heads-up that I've got a gorgeous Cat's Eyes 12-string acoustic on eBay right now. Any 12-string enthusiasts that are in the market for a spruce top/rosewood back & sides beauty similar to a D-12-28 but without the Martin price tag should check this out. It's killing me to part with her, but I rarely play anymore and it's worse to have her sitting idle in a closet. She's in excellent condition, and comes with a Guild hardshell case. Auction ends the afternoon of Friday 2/2! Follow the link below, and thanks for looking! http://cgi.ebay.com/Cats-Eyes-Dreadnaught-...1QQcmdZViewItem Chris
  2. Thanks. I did find this site the other day. It seems to have the schematic for the Sync-A-Wah (thought they calll it the "Pik Wah Box" or something like that) but nothing beyond that. The other Pik-A-Wah they mention is, if I'm not misaken, an actual wah pedal with the pick controller, whereas what I have isn't a pedal...just a box that clips onto your belt/guitar strap/whatever. Thanks for the tip, though!
  3. Hi All, While excavating stuff from deep storage the other day I came across an effect unit that I haven't used...or frankly even thought about...for years. It's called a Sync-A-Wah, and it was made by Morley. I believe I bought it from Musician's Friend sometime in the late 80's, but wouldn't stake my life on that. Anyway, I can't find any information on it at all, and would be interested in background info, info on when and how many were produced, and especially current value (if any). It's a pretty nifty little device: a belt-mounted box about 4 inches square, with a metallic pick attached to the effect by a fine wire. Basically the pick contacting the strings completes a circuit and actuates the filter. Not as flexible as a wah pedal, but then again it didn't cost nearly as much either. Thanks in advance for any tidbits of knowledge that come out of this. Happy playing! Chris
