Hi folks - noob to this board, glad I found it.
My buddy and I are wiring up a custom Tele-style, Nashville-esque. All Duncan pups, with a 5-2 in the neck, Cool Rails in middle, and Hot Rails in bridge. Had a guy on the Harmony Central boards (brikus) work up a diagram for me that will allow 17 different sounds (push-pulls on the Vol and Tone knobs).
I am using an oak grigsby 5-way switch. We have checked all the connections over and over again, but when we plug the guitar into the amp for testing, we get an ungodly buzz when we touch any metal part of the guitar. the switch works, as far as we can tell, and the pickups crackle accordingly, but I cannot find a problem with the grounds.
Could use some ideas if anyone has any.
