Strings to the Max

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a N4 and love the sh_t out of it, My Question is about the

N2 & N3

I'ver been told that the first run of N2's were made in USA and were very Rare ??

I know that the N3 is rare and was made in Korea any more tid bits on these guitars would be Extremlly helpful!! no pun intended

Thanks Guy's Strings to the max!

Blue Book says all of the N4's are US made (Chicago) starting in '92 depending on the model.

1992-1998, 2001 - N4EA (alder body, natural finish)

1992-1996, 2001 - N4EP (paduak body, natural finish)

1994 - current - N4ESA (swamp ash body, paduak stain, natural and vintage burst)

1997-1999 - N4EQM (quilted maple top, tobacco burst & wine burst)

2002 - current - N4ESA (aged solid alder body, matte natural finish)

It gives no info on quantities produced but the quilt maple and the aged solid alder have the most value. Values range from $1000 to $1500 in mint condition for all models.
