  1. The wet sand set off the alarm, how wet was it? it is quite possible water got into the wood through the routs, and that is causing the wood (and paint) to swell. George
  2. Go to the setup tutorial on the main site (that was posted in your other thread) and follow that start to finish, do not skip from here to there and just start trying random stuff. You will also find what tools are needed for a proper setup. Sit down a read through it thoroughly before you start messing around anymore. You may also want to get a few books on the subject. A good one is "Guitar Player Repair Guide" by Dan Erlewine. Again, Follow the setup guide in the book, start to finish. If you start making random adjustments, you can introduce other problems that weren't initially there. George
  3. I'd reccomend going through the ENTIRE setup posted on the main page, from start to finish, don't skip any steps. George
  4. have you tried the BC Rich site dealer locator page? http://www.bcrich.com/dealers/dealers.asp George
  5. Well you don't say where you are located or what kind of trem you are looking for, but ALLPARTS http://www.allparts.com/cmtpage.php?filename=Home have floyd rose trems for leftys in black, they may have others, I didn;t look. WD also have a few different trems in LH http://www.wdmusic.com/ George
  6. Ahhh sorry, being in Oz would make a difference. Since you stated US dollars, I assumed you were in the states. And we all know what happens when you assume. George
  7. You are joking right? Have you looked on the main site? http://projectguitar.com/ref/supply.htm You may want to start with universal jems (the one who keeps this site going) but any of the vendors on that page will work. George
  8. If you don't have the patience to wait for and answer or do ANY research, you have no buisiness trying to build a guitar. There are a lot of great people here who are willing to help, but being obnoxious or impatient is no way to endear yourself to anyone here. Based on this post and several of your others, you post a question and wait until you get the answer YOU want to hear, ignoring everything else. A guitar can be built with a few basic tools, but not with no tools at all. I suggest you slow down, get some of the books that were recomended to you in other threads, and READ them. George
  9. Pics would help alot. From what you are saying that sounds like the truss rod in the neck that goes into the body, but pictures would make it much clearer. Have you tried contacting the seller for instructions? That would be the best place to look. george
  10. I love it, you're combining two of my favorite things.....teles and double necks. Keep up the great work man. George
  11. ALPS made just about the only printer that could print white. They've been out of production for quite a few years now. If you can find someone who has one of those you are in business, if not, use one of the previous suggestions. George
  12. Take a look at the allparts, WD and stew mac sites and you'll find a pretty good selection of whats out there. You don't have to buy from them, but at least you'll know what to look for. George
  13. Options B and C are very much illegal and I doubt anyone here would offer them. Bite the bullet and pay for them or look to ebay. You are paying for his years of expertise, and knowledge. By the way, they are very good. George
  14. No, not if you are using a dremel type tool. They don't have the guts for that type of work. What part of get a proper router don't you understand?
