installing a push pull switch..help

I am trying to install a push pull pot as a new volume pot. My abjective is to be able to blend the bridge pickup in with the neck and middle pups on my strat.I have viewed 4 different schematics on how to wire this up.Each one is different.I got it to work,but the volume would not completely turn off when the pot is backed off. It turns down,but does not completely shut off. That is no good.I don't know what I'm doing wrong .Do I need to put in a different capacitor?

By the way it's a 500k linear push pull pot.
