I have a piece of bookmatched quilted maple that I need to glue and then cut to the body shape with cavity holes, etc... My question is...what is the best way to go about this? Do I glue then cut or do I lay the wood together, mark the cut lines, cut it and then glue it? As always, thanks to all the smart guys out there who know what they're doing! Less chance of error. infact ive only heard of one person cutting then glueing. there are tons of tourtials of people using tops, you should try seeing what order they do things in.
