daveq Posted August 25, 2004 Report Share Posted August 25, 2004 I did a tutorial on LED installation here on projectguitar. LED Tutorial It describes how to do side dot LEDs but you can use most of it for front dots or any other application of LEDs. You'd just need to work out how you want to have them look. Installing them in an existing neck (not a new build) costs a bunch since you'd need to remove the fretboard and possibly the frets depending on the inlay. I'd bet that buying a new neck with them installed might be close to the same price but I can't say for sure. I've heard that SIMS charges about $600 depending on the inlay - I don't know how long it takes them to get it done. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
