Simo
I was sorting through my guitar bit's n pieces yesterday when I came across the Pirhana Pine Tele body that I was working on back in May. I'd only got round to routing the neck pocket before it was shelved when the RG project started. Rather than letting it collect dust I decided to buy some top wood for it and turn it into a chambered Tele. I'm thinking about using Spalted Beech for the top as I really like the look of it and it's quite cheap over here Here's how it looked last night..... http://www.smartgroups.com/picvault/243306...PG/PIC_0005.JPG Pre-drilling with Forstner bits this afternoon.... http://fullservesite.com/blacklabel/songs/pics/PIC_0002.JPG And this is how it looks at the moment, it's not the neatest routing I've done but I'm not having any F-holes so it won't be seen when the tops on

Simo
Are you staining or painting? If I do use Spalted Beech for the top then I'll use clear laquer for the beech, as for the back and sides I'm not sure...I'll proberbly paint them Black.
