martynm Posted January 17, 2005 Report Share Posted January 17, 2005 (edited) Hi, Hopefully someone will be able to help out with some trouble i am having with a bass guitar at the moment. I'm trying to set up my friends washburn 4 string bass. But no matter what i do i cannot set the intonation on the E string. it sounds really badly out of tune when playing up the neck. The string is tuned dropped D, would this maybe be the cause of the trouble? Or could it be a problem with the neck?
