I have been through the supplier's page and have scoured ebay, and i don't have any local hardwood stores around here, so i'm asking you all what you would recommend doing to find laminates for a neck through. I am planning on a 5 piece maple/x/maple/x/maple neck, and would like something like padauk or purpleheart or a dark wood to provide contrast. I have found some places, but i don't really feel like spending 20 bucks plus shipping for two 1/4 inch thick padauk laminates. Is there any place you know of that i can buy from online that has wood of the correct sizes for a decent price? Thanks in advance. His prices are a little high on some stuff, but nowhere near what some people online charge. You might could possibly get him to work with you, cause I think they do ship some stuff.
