fryovanni
A co-worker of mine asked if I could help his son with a high school shop project. He had started an Explorer style body in his shop class, and needed a hand with the neck. After talking with him about what he wanted. We went for a neck-thru configuration with a Flamed Maple top and Ebony fret board. I have posted photo's of the first two weeks progress. He is researching what he wants to do for inlay, pickups, bridge (some form of TOM), and controls. I gave him some Maple and dye so he can practice applying it. At this point he wants to do a black back, natural maple binding and emerald green top with a little black around the edge. Oh yeah, he also is planning on black hardware and a black bone nut. He is woking on research for the moment so more progress shot may take a bit depending (but while he is doing that I can get back to my projects). Peace and any suggestion would be appreciated.
