Death6CS Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Hey. Well, obviously I'm new here. Judging by the topic title you can infer that I am quite electrically illiterate. So, I'm making this guitar (my first) and I was wondering on how I should wire things. Its going to have one humbucker and a single volume knob. Correct me if I'm wrong- So I stick the humbucker in there. Then one of the wires goes to the volume pot. The other goes to be grounded (to a tunomatic, which I'm unsure how I will ground). From the volume pot, it goes straight to the output jack? Any suggestions, or whatever. Thanks. Quote
lovekraft Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Try this: Connect all the grounds (downward pointing triangles) to one point, usually the back of the volume pot - connect the bridge ground there as well. HTH Quote
