jer7440 Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I found these specs online somewhere: species: mahogany Profile: "50's rounded or '60's slim taper Peghead: 17deg thickness at first fret: 0.818" Thickness at 12th fret0.963" My question is this, do those thickness numbers include the fretboard? It seems like they would but I don't know. Can anyone help me with this? Quote
Devon Headen Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Yes they include the fretboard. I didn't go and make sure it came from the Gibson site, but it looks like the specs they list. On first glance it looks right. Quote
Tim Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 How do those rounded and slim tapers work? Are the measurements same for both types and first is only more rounded and the second more V-like? If I take the neck shape from a strat (-83 elite), will I be a lot off the LP spec? Quote
