unclej Posted May 19, 2005 Report Share Posted May 19, 2005 if it's broken off flush you can go to your local hardware store and get a screw extractor. you'll drill a small hole in the end of the screw then insert the tip of the screw extractor which is like a drill only the threads run backwards and then back the screw out. the other posibility is to drill a small pilot hole right next to the broken screw and attach your strap button slightly off center. the base should cover the old screw. good luck.
