xebryusguitars
Well because the weather just started getting nice so I started working but my mom took the camera because she was out in korea and japan. So now the cameras back you get to see my stuff. Well the les paul and double cutaway bodies are worthless and are just there for fun, im not going to use them because some things went wrong with them but Im making those necks and that body I made from that top MetalMatt gave me. I used alder for that body. Birdseye prs style is going on that guitar. And...wow i forget what type of wood that neck is made out of. Oh yeah, I got a great deal of Iroko at the local wood store. Dimensions of the board was 168x14x2. All of that was for 170. 8 blanks . Well the stuff has a little figure in it, can't wait to get a planer to thin the thing down a bit. Well heres the pictures. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0434.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0435.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0436.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0437.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0438.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0439.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0440.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0441.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0442.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0443.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0444.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0445.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0446.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0447.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0448.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0449.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0450.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0452.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0453.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0454.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0455.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0456.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0457.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0458.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Xeb...rs/IMG_0459.jpg Well have fun, hopefully I got some more stuff to work on..like start shaping that les paul body Oh yeah, I got that piece of birdsseye for 20 bucks. hyunsu
ye.. good choice .. iroko is great wood.. previous week.. i meet 1965 Original Old fender stratocaster.. and compare guitar sound.. 65 Original Old fender & my Iroko strat.. with Marshall JCM2000 DSL Amp.. but Iroko start is great.. Old fender & Iroko stat is all most same quality sound.. Old fender is very great sound.. but.. my choice is Iroko strat.. deep & tender, but have a attack.. clean.. i love iroko.. it is my main wood.. ^^ i suggest your iroko body LP.. use Iroko neck.. and Rosewood Finger board.. but neck thick is not slimp.. 0 fret thick at least 22~23mm .... your guitar will be great sound.. ^^ and dont need expensive guitar.. good.. ^^ and this guitar is all Iroko body & neck.. and maple Fingerboard.. i think.. this guitar is more good sound than previous strat.. sorry too big size pic.. have nice day.. xebryusguitars
That is so cool, I love your approach on guitar building. It doesnt have to be pretty and expensive woods to have great sounds. That tele looks very nice. Ill do the touch ups to the side to the les paul tommorow and route it out
