Brian Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Yuppers thats right folks I'm probably heading back to high school in January! Why post it here you might ask? Well it's a night adult education course in the wood shop. The cost is $35 for 12 weeks plus bring your own wood. They have plenty of fun tools to play with on an industrial sized level such as band saws, wood planers, routers, drill press etc....... A lot of people never stop to think that the vast majority of high schools offer these programs and you can go there to build your guitar bodys and necks if you stop to think about it without having to shell out a fortune on tool's Quote
Boltz Posted November 21, 2002 Report Posted November 21, 2002 Sounds good to me. I've been looking for some adult ed. courses in my area to improve my woodworking skills, but no luck yet. I definitely some practice before mangling some nice tone woods! Quote
Brian Posted November 21, 2002 Author Report Posted November 21, 2002 Give the Vice-principal of any high school in your area a call, they usually can head you off in the right direction, That is what I did. Quote
Boltz Posted November 21, 2002 Report Posted November 21, 2002 Actually I just found a woodworking school about an hour from my house. I think its worth looking into. Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking Quote
