I also need help finding a quilted maple top so I can do a carved top. I found all of the other parts but their is no wood available by me. I know there are plenty of place's here in the US and also plenty of people selling on Ebay but in your region it may be harder to find. ELXVintagefade Posted July 15, 2003 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2003 I had a chance to talk to my uncle who his helping me build this guitar and he knows someone who sells wood. I gave him a call and when he found out what I was doing and that I was my uncle's nephew he donated the wood to me. So I'm getting mahogany cut for neck and body blanks and a quilted maple top.
