bbish247
I have an old chandler strat body that I have stripped down. I bought a flame maple 'drop cap' on ebay for $15.00. Since I got it, it has started to warp all over the place. I am about done prepping the body for the cap, now, how do I get the cap flat again? It is about 1/8th of a inch thick. Should I get it wet and then smash it between a couple peices of plywood with a 70 lb bag of sand on top to keep things flat when it dries, or am I way off... Brian
I would try to stay away from adding any moisture to it personally. Is it so bad that you couldn't just glue and press it to the body in hopes of the glue holding it flat?
