el_fr0 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 hi, i recently built a carvin kit bass and i wanted the humbucking pickup so i had to order the active electronics with it. i noticed the other day when i was just messing with my settings that my treble control did nothing. my bass and mid controls still work, but the treble gives me nothing. i was wondering if anyone has any idea what it could be. thanks a lot. Chances are they'll be more help than we are - after all, it stands to reason that they know more about their own products than anybody else. thedoctor Posted July 6, 2005 Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 Did you get the 501B system? Probly cause I think that is the only one they sell seperate. The treble control is not supposed to work in passive. Go figure. If you have the switches set for active and the treble cut doesn't work, I think Carvin owes you a new PCB with pots.
