gun Posted August 6, 2005 Report Share Posted August 6, 2005 Hi i was able to find here a high quality 2 part polyester sanding sealer used in forniture industry. will it work under a Dupont polyurethane? That's the only polyester finish I can find now, of course the clear polyester too. But all they are manufcured by industries supplying for forniture builders. I dunno if there's a polyester finish by an automotive paints supplier. I have to ask. What do you think? Maybe it's better use straight poly on the bare wood.... or not? Who use poly on dyed top?
