RLuke88
I'm a student and on a limited budget and recently decided to build a Telecaster from existing parts and have nearly all of them(not bought yet), except for the neck and tuning machines. Wherever I look the cost of necks for Telecasters are too much or ones I definitly would not consider buying. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Does anyone know where I can buy one under about 120 USD or have one they can sell to me, or maybe negotiate something? Thanks a lot. -Luke
Primal
For a bit extra cash ($157), you can buy a maple neck with rosewood or maple fb from Warmoth. It will certainly be of higher quality than a neck from ebay or something that will probably be off a MIM Fender. Of course, I myself am a student, and I know how it feels. If you can get a decent used neck for cheap, thats great. I wouldn't count Warmoth out just yet, though.
marksound
I've had pretty good luck with Mighty Mite necks from an ebay seller for about $80 plus shipping. Brian (Universal Jems) carries both budget and licensed necks.
