gun Posted August 20, 2005 Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 A cool way could be this: use the Retro glow powder selling Alsa corp under a piece of clear acrylic inlay. Maybe a painted vinyl insert. Or try to mix the powder in clear epoxy and see if it works. BTW I believe you can find many other paints or powders to use in other way too. axemannate Posted August 20, 2005 Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 actually the other day, i tested this out on a POS fretboard that i routed a vine into and it worked great. I just mixed in some HOK glow powder into some 5 min epoxy and it looks killer in the light and the dark. I'll try to get pix if i can get a hold of a camera. Duff Beer Man Posted August 21, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2005 Yeah next problem i didnt think about is glow time, lol i dont want to do this fancy inlay and have it last like two days ya know lol... hmmmm apparently taht alsa corp stuff last ten times longer then any other glow product.
