Basically I'm asking if I were to build a 12 string would I have to build anything differently than I would on a regular six string? Thanks. Thanks. ← Yes, the neck will need to be wider(if you want the strings spaced nicely) and you will probably want extra neck reinforcement, an eko I was playing had a trussrod and 2 t section steel bars together like a u channel, But people with experience building 12 stringers will help on that part.
