Nitefly SA
i was playing this dean at mediaplay (like best buy) that had a full TOM and i really liked it so i think ill buy one, it has a mahogany body and a maple neck, i looked on ebay for one and all i see it one like it but it has amhogany neck aswell and its set, over all its better but i want a full TOM bridge not just a wrap around now, if i just put the string retainer behind the existing bridge and put the TOM bridge in the existing posts would it work, or would i need to take out the posts is there different spacing? Mattia
Might have different spacing, might need to be moved from where it is (some/most wraparounds are mounted straight, not angled like TOM bridges), so it's no trivial matter. Why the hell bother, though? It's not like a TOM will mystically give you better tone, or anything.
Nitefly SA
well i wanted the adjustable saddles, but i just realized that they sell wrap arounds with adjustables saddles (Derrrr)
Mickguard
Anyway, if the guitar intonates, then there's no need for adjustable saddles...
