Onboard Bass Preamp

I'm looking for a bass preamp for my 2 6-string active soapbars. I'm looking for something simple with volume, blend and 2- or 3-band eq pots. I'm planning on installing some onboard effects, so I want a small preamp so I don't kill my bass tone with too much routing.

Any suggestions here?

The Aguilar OBP-3 is quite small, and sounds great. It has options for the knob orientation, so you can specify that.

i used a mightymite 2 band in my dean, works good, simply volume blend bass and treble, but its not as tidy as the aguilar.....but its a lot cheaper i got mine for 45 dollars at www.dancingdragonguitars.com

I use Aguilar OBP-1 (2-band) in my basses which I buy through bestbassgear.com

It's small and kicks ass but it runs on two 9 volts though (that takes up space)
