markba2575
I had just finished making my first guitar and I am about to make my second. My first was a strat made out of solid Corain. It sounds beautiful and can hold a note forever but man it weighs a ton. I am in the process of making a telecaster but this time I purchased a piece of ash and want to top it with Corian. I am looking for any tips or suggestions which will be helpful in the construction. I also need some advise as to what type of adhesive would join the corian to the wood. I am guessing some sort epoxy but I am guessing perhaps one brand may be better then another? Many Thanks, Mark
frank falbo
Yes, epoxy is probably the best suited method. Besides Corian looking really cool in different patterns, I'd rather see a guitar with a wooden top and a Corian back. Hmmm, that gives me an idea... marksound
How about a Corian monoframe with an inset wood top and back?
