thermopyle Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 can anyone give me some insight into what finishing brands, that work well for guitar, can be found in the stores here in canada? grain filler, transparent dyes, sanding sealer, nitro lacquer. any help appreciated... my first project and i want to get it right. thermo Quote
LGM Guitars Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 If you want to use laquer go to Fargey's paint and wall coverings in Canada. They will have everything you need. You can buy mohawk tone finish laquer in spray cans, or by the gallon. They can give you everything you need for filling etc. Quote

I'm having the same problem as thermo, with Stew-Mac not shipping their spray lacquer out of the country. Aaron Quote
LGM Guitars Posted August 19, 2003 Report Posted August 19, 2003 There is a really neat thing on the internet called a search engine, I don't know if they have a website or not, so, I typed in "fargeys" and guess what www.fargeys.com LOL!!!!!!! Quote
