Very bright. This is my first non-AANJ guitar, and I'm liking it. With the single/humbucker combo it has a nice twang to it. The shape is very comfy.....and I'm not sure why back in the days this model didn't sell that well.... From what I understand only couple of hunderds 540 Pro's were built with this triple bucker version only a hand full. (triple bucker is not right word actually, as it's normal humbucker and single combined. With necessary flips and switches) Well......makes it a more special guitar, I guess.
