Pex657
I have searched some topics and read over them and it seems that sometimes it is just easier to leave a dent or scrape then to try to fix it. Here are the thinks that I would like to fix: http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e168/Pex657/P1000163.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e168/Pex657/P1000164.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e168/Pex657/P1000165.jpg For the neck, I have read that superglue will work, will it? Are these things fixable, or better just to leave them? Thanks, -Pex657
Southpa
They can fixed to a degree. Drop filling CA (superglue) or lacquer can bring back the uniform surface. If the actual wood has been damaged then it is another matter and would require a lot of expertise. You can fill that dent in the neck but I don't see any way to hide it aside from sanding the entire neck down. A solid paint finish would be easier to repair than natural wood. The hard part would be finding the right color match. Edited January 31, 2006 by Southpa
