They're all essentialy the same (acoustic, electric, bolt on, whatever), with a few variation points (headstock attachement/angle, connection with body), but constructionally all very similar. GuitarFrenzy's strat tutorial is great for a bolt-on fender-style, anyway. Oh, and get yourself Melvyn Hiscock's 'Make Your Own Electric Guitar'. It's a great book, and worth every penny.
