jimhndrx3
got a teisco e-120 for christmas as a project guitar and ive been working on it since then. http://myspace-836.vo.llnwd.net/00513/63/85/513665836_l.jpg thats the before picture and here it is in its current state http://myspace-403.vo.llnwd.net/00513/30/41/513661403_l.jpg this is my first attempt at building/customizing a guitar and its going ok. the pickguard isnt cut perfect.. the picture is bad but its got 2 chicken head knobs one volume one tone and then 2 mini switches to turn each pickup off or on. fixed strat style bridge... the neck is real off and i have to intonate it but currently the electronics are not working. so hoping to have that done soon. any advice from any1 who has worked with teiscos and knows of problems with them then let me know
Mickguard
I always thought those striped pickguards were a major part of the Teisco's charm...oh well...
jimhndrx3
yea i liked the striped aluminum pickguard as well but i could not find any material like it and i dont think i have the proper tools to cut a metal pickguard so i used regular material... its an idea for the future to cut a striped metal one like the original
