STATIC Posted February 25, 2006 Report Share Posted February 25, 2006 i did use the search and came up with nothing.... so, have any of you tried making a fretless bass, but instead of putting some kind of resin or something on it, you would put clear coat on it with the rest of the guitar. i thought about this and if you had flatwound strings, this would still probably have a really warm sound but the fretboard would get very little wear and tear, plus it would look cool with a gloss on the fretboard. anyone tried this?
