silvertonessuckbutigotone Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 so i got a new amp yestarday, a fender blues jr, and its really good. ive heard of switching out the stock driver with a celestian vintage 30, does anyone have any experience witht these amps to tell me if its worth it? also, ive read somewhere that changing the stock tubes helps a bunch too. electronically i know nothing about tube amps. could someone point me in the direction of basic tube amp electronic descriptions etc? but thats not really why i posted this, i wanted to know if any of you ahd experience with these amps, and what some of your favorite settings on them are, nothing specific i just want to get a feel for it. ttyl.
