chopp3r Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 Hey there... I got some templates for a 58 flying v but I still have a few questions. Like what is going on at the neck joint/heel? How thick is the body? What are the headstock and neck angles? I have a gibson flying v but it's a 25.5" scale flying v 90...don't think it would be good for anything but the body thickness measurement, maybe? if anyone has this info it's be much appreciated! thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chopp3r Posted March 13, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 (edited) thanks for the reply.... yeah I'm sure my project will end up with plenty of my own specs (but due to MY incompetence) but I'd love to have some more exact numbers to guide me. the neck joint is really a mystery to me... it looks to me like the back of the body forms sorta of a heel cap or something?
