Col_Death Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 Hello y'all. I'm new here so I don't know if this has been asked before, and I generally can't be arsed to do a snoop. I'm thinking about building a guitar soon and so I've been thinking about finishes. I can get Behlin stains and lacquers from their site, but they don't do any solid colours, so I've been thinking (seeing as many people used to use car sprays... probably still do) about possibly using car sprays to get a solid colour. But I'm skeptical about it, as it'll probably come out rubbish (with loads of blobs and the like). How would I go about getting a good solid colour finish? what should I use for base coating, etc. Cheers for your time. Quote
marksound Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 Welcome to the forum. Generally when people around here see I generally can't be arsed to do a snoop. they generally can't be arsed to give up an answer. Probably ought to try out that search button up there and see what you can find out, then ask specific questions. But hey, thanks for asking! Quote
