lovekraft Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 I'm assuming that you're looking for the infamous 42 gauge Formvar Strat wire - I know it's available from Wirenetics, but they're an industrial supplier, so there may be a large minimum order. FWIW, FormVar® is just the insulation - it's a polyvinyl formal resin used to make magnet wire enamel. It's reputed to have a "warmer" sound than Polysol or other enamels.
