Bernard d'Uur Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 OK, hello, I am quite new so this will be my first post; I have found this beautifull hollowbody guitar in a dumpster; it is an EKO guitar, called a Tramp II. There is virtually nothing wrong with it except for some scratches in the laquer and the fact the owner put some humbuckers in it (instead of the normal single coils). When I opened it up (as in removed the pickups) I noticed this pieces of wood (covered in glue) underneath the neck / body binding ( as can be seen here ). As there is some of the original color on it, does it belong in the original guitar or is it later put in here for some purpose. Thanks for the time! Quote
Nitefly SA Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 its probably the original guitar. the neck needs something to hold on to Quote
