Well now.... I picked up one of these gems today at a local guitar shop. The BIG music chain was having this show and sale, and ironically enough, I ended up going down to this hole in the wall guitar shop down the road and buying this pedal. They're supposed to be around 350-400 or so but they bought it off a guitar shop that was closing down so I got it for 220!! Now, onto the pedal. Firstly ,this thing is absolutely gorgeous. Chrome mirror finish, and when plugged in, it emits a blue glow from the insides. Now, at first when you first plug it in it's a little harsh sounding but after tweaking it a little it can go from a gritty distortion down to a buttery smooth one. Gain 1 is a more vintage distortion, whereas gain 2 has more balls and some scooped mids. The only thing I didn't really like is how there's a Gain 2 voicing knob, but no gain 1 voicing knob! It makes up for it though. And besides all of that, it's tube driven!! DEFINITELY worth the price tag, and then some. Check it out!
