sexybeast Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 Can I make a scarf joint in a neck but still have the headstock straight instead of angled? I have a piece of laminated Maple/Padauk that is almost long enouh for a neck, but not quite. I wanna make a straight headstock, so I wonder if there are any strength and stability issues I need to consider. Quote
Nitefly SA Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 Yes, thats how scarf joints are used elsewhere. There shouldn't be and issues stregnth wise. Quote
