De Trepagny
Do i have to ground the bridge of the tele i'm bulding, since a ground wire goes from the volume pot to the P-U's copper plate, and screwed to the bridge? thanks! thegarehanman
Check for continuity between the bridge and the ring on your output jack. If there's a connection, then the answer's no, you don't need to ground the bridge. Playing the guessing game in a situation like this is not a wise choice...the multimeter never(read: rarely) lies. Your right Russ, A multimeter never lies (well there are those Fluke occasions) . Sorry...
thegarehanman
hence the "read: rarely." I've had an instance or two where it couldn't make up its mind if there was continuity or not...but that was when I was using shielding paint rather than tape...so the blame's most likely misplaced even there.
