ralpal Posted August 6, 2006 Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 Hi all, I've been bitten by the guitar building bug in a big way*, but my wife has told me that my 'hobby/obsession' needs to start paying for itself, so I sell every second guitar body I make on Ebay to pay for the next batch of wood. Ash Strat What do you think of my Strat style body? Am I wasting my time? Any comments, criticisms, or suggestions greatly appreciated. prs man Posted August 6, 2006 Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 ash is a nice wood and some of the fender strat/tele bodies are made from ash. ash can be light in weight. I have thought of selling a few bodies myself but there are so many people selling stuff like that you might not get what you need to pay for other projects.
