Ok, I've got an original Floyd that's going to sit in the guitar I'm building, and I've got a nice little line for where the saddles should be, and I've got a line for the edge of the trem, and a line for the edge of the cavity. Now, how do I find a line on which to drill the holes for the trem posts (both width- and lengthwise)?

Usually, you place the posts 1/2" closer to the neck than the scale length of the guitar (if I'm remembering correctly). I can get the other dimensions for you later but I'm sure someone else will reply before then. Did the trem route guide (here at project guitar) help with this?

Ok, thanks a lot! And sorry for being both inactive and a bit lazy (not responding and not checking the trem thread). But thanks a lot!
