allpoopedout
If im going to use a floyd rose which I have read to be a 10 degree string radius, should the neck radius be the same or would 12 degree be fine. I was going to go with a 12 degree neck but figure it would be smart to double check with others who would know.
ryanb
The difference from 10 to 12 inch radius is pretty small ... so it may be fine for you ... it's all preference. However, you can always shim the bridge saddles to match the fretboard radius of your choice. The bigger problem is finding a locking nut to match your fretboard. VesQ
If radius on fretboard and nut won´t match you might discover that your 1st fret is bit of out of tune.
allpoopedout
Ok so then if Im going to get the floyd rose the best option is to obviously make a 10 degree radius fingerboard. Thanks. Might have saved me a few headaches down the road.
