Switching Grain Filler

Yes if you fully filled the pores with natural... c ause then there's no longer any pores for the walnut to go into. You'd have to sand back far enough for new pores to apear...

I mean, you may not have filled them fully, and in that case, as long as it's the same TYPE of natural and walnut, ie: oil and oil, or water based and water based you should be fine putting on another coat. But like I said... just hope the pores aren't all the way filled. Also, if it's oil based, try rubbing with naphtha, that's it's thinner, and thus you may be able to get it back to liquid and pull it out of the pores by wiping WITH the grain.

Best of luck,

Chris
