He's one of the builders that got one of Fine Guitar Consultants' magic spruce tops with flame, bearclaw, and a bunch of other stuff... they call it like the magic 12 or something. Don't remember. Either way, VERY flashy wood (think sapele's stripes, kinda how MOP flashes... but wood).
